Blow that whistle! Another Safety Week has come and gone at Orlando Science Center but not before families went home with new knowledge on how to keep each other safe.

KidsTown visitors had many opportunities to talk about what to do in case of an emergency as well as had chances to meet our local emergency service men and women. This week of safety was filled with fun activities and crafts designed to teach little ones about how to stay safe at home, outside and on-the-go!

"If you make it, they will come."

That was certainly the case this past Saturday when thousands attended Orlando Mini Maker Faire at Orlando Science Center.

Local Makers showcased their one-of-a-kind creations and shared how they made them with the public.

Works included the Human-Powered Snow Cone machine, FIRST Robotics' frisbee-flinging robot and a homemade pinball machine!
