Dust off your club and drag your date to the Neanderthal Ball, the Orlando Science Center’s gala evening. Enjoy a “diamond dig” set amongst the prehistoric setting of the “DinoDigs” exhibit and the delectable food and wine choices under the star lit sky on the beautiful SunTrust Terrace.
“Rock out” with themed entertainment and music. Chisel out your mark at the silent auction. Dress code is cocktail fun with an accent on “cavemen couture”, with an animal print necktie or leopard pattern cocktail dress!

Proceeds from the Neanderthal Ball provide critical funds to provide operating support for educational programs and opportunities for youth, regardless of their ability to pay, to experience the fun and discovery of the Orlando Science Center.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,500 to $10,000. Be part of the solution to address the critical need for STEM (scientific, technological, engineering and math) related educational initiatives in Central Florida. Tickets are included with all sponsorship levels. Make the Neanderthal Ball an event to entertain clients, a company team building event or get a group together of family and friends.
Your support is crucial to the Orlando Science Center; only 19% of our general operating expenses (versus a national average of 30%) are provided by public funds. It is imperative that we secure private funding to fulfill our formidable mission to provide our region’s youth with the tools required to be the Central Florida’s work force of tomorrow!

We are requesting your support by donating an auction item for the Ball. For example, we are seeking donations of restaurants, theme park tickets, travel & hotels, vacation condos, Magic & sporting event tickets, and unique experiences. Your donation of a tax-deductible, in-kind contribution will directly make an impact on programs and experiences at the Orlando Science Center, as well as provide an opportunity to showcase your company to a captive audience!

Individual tickets are available at $125 per person. It’s the best ticket in town for a great night of fun, plus knowing you’re supporting such a worthy cause!
