    You must be at least 13 years old in order to start volunteering.
  • What are the steps in becoming an adult volunteer?

    One must complete a Volunteer Application and send it to the Manager of Volunteer Resources. Then each applicant will be contacted individually to learn more about the volunteer program and the organization’s current needs.
  • Do I need training?

    Training is an essential and mandatory part of being a volunteer at the Orlando Science Center. All volunteers must attend a one day training and orientation session as well as additional training as necessary to work in particular areas of the Science Center.
  • What kinds of opportunities are there at the museum?

    Upon meeting with the Manager of Volunteer Resources a list of current volunteer opportunities within the organization will be provided to applicants. The one common thread that ties every volunteer together is that each is a lifelong learner, wishing to share his or her love of science, technology, engineering, and math with every visitor.
