Orlando Science Center’s most popular multi-day event known as Otronicon is now Spark STEM Fest!

The event resides at the crossroads of inspiration and engagement, igniting curiosity in STEM careers, empowering meaningful connections between the public and STEM professionals, and building excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. Celebrating the success and growth that our STEM community has experienced over the past 17 years, our event has evolved to include all fields of science, technology, engineering, and math with a focus to expand our audience and impact even further.

Spark STEM Fest will include Discovery Days, an exciting variety of events around the Central Florida, followed by Spark STEM Fest at Orlando Science Center over Presidents Day weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, proposals are due by December 15, 2022.

Exhibitors represent a wide range of businesses, community organizations, educational institutions, and many others!

Exhibit space is an optional benefit of sponsorship, and we encourage sponsors to participate if they are inclined, however it is not required. If your company is interested in participating but unable to commit to exhibiting our team is glad to explore alternative engagement opportunities with you.

Yes, sponsors who also provide content should also complete a proposal so that we can plan for the exciting content they are bringing to the event.

Yes - be sure to complete the registration forms for each exhibit your organization will have at the event.

Exhibitors are encouraged to sign up for all four days but must commit to a minimum of two consecutive days. Exhibitors with a large display and significant setup must commit to all four days.

Exhibitors staff their booths for 8 hours a day Friday, Sunday, and Monday, and for 12 hours on Saturday, which includes extended hours for the adults-only segment called Science Night Live! Staff accordingly to allow for breaks throughout the day. 

Great question! Once your exhibit/workshop application has been accepted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to schedule a load-in time and register your booth staff online.

Bring all the supplies you will need to run your activity at your booth or presentation.

Extension cords, cables, power strips, mats and gaffers’ tape must be supplied by each exhibitor. Please label the equipment with your company name.

Prepare to bring face masks and FDA approved COVID-19 cleaning supplies for high touch point areas for high frequency sanitation.

Exhibitors will be provided with 6-foot tables, black linen and chairs. You are welcome to bring your own branded linen.
