Live from Orlando, it’s Science Night Live!

Enjoy everything you love about Orlando Science Center–without the kids! Special programming is designed just for adults.

 

Featuring workshops in The Hive and experiments in Dr. Dare's Lab, plus a special guest speaker, entertainment and so much more! Bring your friends, or make a date night of it, and unleash your inner child at this unique experience that proves there’s no age limit on curiosity.

Must be 21 years or older to attend.

Limited tickets are available for just $16 and usually sell out online in advance so purchase yours today!

Orlando Science Center Members receive complimentary admission but must reserve their tickets in advance. Check your email for a special ticket link or email oscmembership@osc.org to receive the promo code!

Main event parking is located at Orlando Science Center Garage on Princeton Street. Parking is free and on a first come, first served basis. To find authorized overflow parking locations, please download the Guest Overflow Parking Map closer to the event.

From the Orlando Science Center parking garage, cross pedestrian bridge on Level 2 into the Science Center lobby. An alternative entrance if parking off-site is through the bus Entrance A on Camden Road.

 

Ride Share drop-off and pick-up is only approved at Entrance A on Camden Road.

Limited tickets are available online only* for this event and will be emailed directly to you shortly after you complete your purchase. Tickets can be printed out or scanned directly from your mobile device.

 

When purchasing for multiple guests, please be sure that each person receives a unique ticket as barcodes will only work once.

 

If the event sells out, it will be communicated on this webpage and on the OSC Facebook page. Tickets will NOT be available at the door and Orlando Science Center cautions against purchasing resold tickets and cannot guarantee entry with them.

 

*Tickets for Florida Teachers and guests qualified Science For All admission must be reserved or purchased in person prior to event date.

If you have purchased your tickets more than 48 hours in advance, the program will be emailed to you before the event so you can see the schedule of all programming throughout the evening. Be sure to pick one up when you enter the Science Center too! 

Schedules are subject to change without notice, please check digital signage that evening for updates!

 

Food partners will have light bites and adult beverages available for purchase. Sip beer, wine or cocktails and enjoy small-plate edibles while you listen to music and get your geek on. We recommend purchasing with cash to reduce wait time and lines.

Each Science Night Live our guests have the chance to hear from some of the greatest minds around! From Boeing engineers who work on spacecrafts to professors talking about the species within your feces, these speakers are guaranteed to leave you with a new sense of knowledge each and every Science Night Live.

Dr. Donoghue, a faculty member of the Planetary Sciences Program in the Department of Physics at UCF presents Knowledge vs. Belief in Climate Change. This expert in climate change will examine coastal processes and climate misinformation and disinformation that have obscured the fact that climate has been changing constantly for most of Earth's history.

Journey through this unprecedented photographic history of the space mission that defined an era. Contribute to conversations with historian and authority J.L. Pickering who has archived rare space images for more than 40 years and journalist John Bisney who has covered the space program for CNN, the Discovery Science Channel, and SiriusXM Radio.

Workshops

Step into The Hive: A Makerspace and walk out with a new sense of creativity. Whether you're making friendship bracelets or recycled costumes – you and your friends will create lasting memories during Science Night Live Workshops. Then, make your way to Dr. Dare's Lab, strap on a pair of goggles and a lab coat and become the scientist in these self-led experiments.
