Orlando Science Center has holiday fun down to a science! Join us all month long for our Winter Science Spectacular featuring Dinos In Lights and "cool" holiday activities like ice cream-making workshops, a live liquid nitrogen show, gift-making activities, winter-themed experiments, and more!
Dinos In Lights
Add some sparkle to the holiday season and see some of your favorite creatures from the Cretaceous in a whole new light with the all-new Dinos In Lights show at Orlando Science Center!
Join Stan the T-Rex and his fossil friends in DinoDigs as they show off their twinkling talent in a festive display of music and light. Each family-friendly show will run for four minutes and concludes with a wintry surprise.
This dazzling light show is included in general admission for a limited time so don't miss out! Be sure to see it multiple times on your visit as the experience is different from every angle. Shows begin every 30 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily through January 6.
Winter Science Month Programming
All December long we’re celebrating the holidays with science! Enjoy special winter-themed activities like Gingerbread Engineering Workshops, holiday experiments, gift-making activities in The Hive: A Makerspace, Cool Science liquid nitrogen shows, and more!
Plus – celebrate New Year’s Eve with the whole family at our Noon Year’s Eve celebration on December 31 where we'll countdown to the ball drop at noon!

Catch a Holiday-Themed Laser Light Show in the Dr. Phillips CineDome, see your favorite Ice Age characters in Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas, and join Olaf and Elsa during Frozen Sing-A-Long all included in general admission!

Last Chance To Stop In and See Our Traveling Exhibits!
If you haven’t seen our fall traveling exhibits Zoo In You, Human Plus and The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards yet, now is your last chance as these exhibits will be leaving the Science Center the first week of January!
Learn all about how mighty the human body is at Zoo In You where you’ll explore the millions of microorganisms that work every day to keep you happy and healthy. At Human Plus you’ll hear real-life stories from engineers and the people they’ve helped through designing tools to enrich their lives. Try to monoski down the slopes or DJ in a wheel chair!
Then head to The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards to laugh like a hyena at 41 high-resolution pictures that capture animal’s expressions and comical coincidences. You and your family can make a game out of your visit by seeing who can come up with the best caption!
