Science Night Live 

Come see how grown-ups do the Science Center! Orlando Science Center is reserved strictly for adults at Science Night Live, with grown-up-inspired programming and hands-on challenges. Guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the night sky through the giant refractor telescope in the observatory; conduct lab experiments in Dr. Dare’s Laboratory; see presentations by expert guest speakers; and delight in food and adult beverages available for purchase.

Wendy MacKeigan and Amber Hawtin, “Amazon Adventure” Filmmakers 

Wendy is one of Canada’s most experienced and respected film executives with both a strong creative and business background. She is a principal of SK and oversees creative development for the company. She led the writing team for SK’s IMAX/Giant Screen production, Amazon Adventure 3D produced in partnership with HHMI’s Tangled Bank Studios. 

For nearly 10 years, Amber has been a highly valued member of the SK team and the Giant Screen community. Excellence, creativity and fun are her trademarks as the VP of Sales and Marketing, which is shown in her innovative, award-winning work, including the recent campaign for Amazon Adventure and Flight of the Butterflies which won SK the Giant Screen Cinema Industry’s award for Best Marketing by a Distributor. 


Know Before You Go 

  • Parking
    Main event parking is located at Orlando Science Center Garage on Princeton Street. Parking is free and on a first come, first served basis. To find authorized overflow parking locations, please download the Guest Overflow Parking Map. 


  • Access
    From the Orlando Science Center parking garage, cross pedestrian bridge on Level 2 into the Science Center lobby. An alternative entrance if parking off-site is through the bus Entrance A on Camden Road.Entrance A on Camden Road is the only approved location for rideshare drop-off and pick-up.
  • Tickets 

Limited tickets are available online only* for this event and will be emailed directly to you shortly after you complete your purchase. Tickets can be printed out or scanned directly from your mobile device.  


When purchasing for multiple guests, please be sure that each person receives a unique ticket as barcodes will only work once.  


If the event sells out, it will be communicated on this webpage and on the OSC Facebook page. Tickets will NOT be available at the door and Orlando Science Center cautions against purchasing resold tickets and cannot guarantee entry with them.  


*Tickets for Florida Teachers and guests qualified Science For All admission must be reserved or purchased in person prior to event date.  


  • Program
    If you have purchased your tickets more than 48 hours in advance, the program will be emailed to you before the event so you can see the schedule of all programming throughout the evening. Be sure to pick one up when you enter the Science Center too!
  • Food & Drinks
    Food partner Hard Rock Cafe will have light bites and adult beverages available for purchase. Beer, wine, and mixed drinks are available; food options may include spring rolls, sliders, and other small plates.  

We recommend purchasing with cash to reduce wait time and lines.
