Orlando Science Center Weddings Guide

DinoDigs
Dance until extinction alongside dinosaurs in DinoDigs! This one-of-a-kind event space boasts dramatically high ceilings and epic photo backdrops, ensuring a memorable reception or cocktail hour.
Guests are sure to have a pre-historic good time taking a selfie with one of many dinosaurs, digging for fossils, or roaring alongside an animatronic dino. Whether guests are dancing the night away or exploring all of the unique features of a dino-filled room, everyone is guaranteed to have an unforgettable evening. DinoDigs provides a unique, whimsical, and exciting atmosphere unlike anything in Orlando.
FINFROCK Terrace
With panoramic unobstructed views of Downtown Orlando and a sky full of stars, FINFROCK Terrace captures every inch of wedding magic. Tie the knot with a ceremony on the Terrace or enjoy cocktail hour as the sun sets over the City Beautiful.
FINFROCK Terrace invites each couples’ unique style, taste, and personality to take shape in our most customizable space. It also provides plenty of room for dinner, dancing, and all of your wedding celebration!
FINFROCK Terrace will be available for weddings through Spring 2027. Beginning in June 2027, the Terrace will close as it transforms into an immersive experience and will no longer be available for private events. Couples planning weddings after this time are invited to explore our newest ceremony location, The Dome, or consider nearby outdoor ceremony locations such as the Mennello Museum of American Art or Leu Gardens before celebrating their reception at Orlando Science Center.
Our Planet, Our Solar System
Looking for a ceremony space that is out-of-this world, or a fun interactive cocktail hour, Our Planet has it all. Say “I Do” in front of a suspended globe with projected images of Mars, the Moon, or even objects from galaxies far, far away. Invite the whole world to be a part of your wedding with Earth as a backdrop, or choose the Death Star and rule the galaxy together!
Watch as guests unearth the wonders of Our Planet during cocktail hour with an array of engaging hands-on exhibits and let science set the scene! Guests will shake things up on an earthquake simulator, make and launch paper airplanes, and predict clear skies for your celebration at our weather station.
Our Planet will remain available through August 2027. At the end of August 2027, the exhibit will temporarily close as it transforms into our new experience, reopening in late 2027 as an exciting new cocktail hour experience. During construction, cocktail hour will be hosted either in the lobby outside The Dome or on the rotunda outside DinoDigs. Couples celebrating after August 2027 can also take advantage of our newest ceremony location, The Dome, featuring breathtaking immersive celestial environments.
The Dome
Create a ceremony that's truly out of this world in The Dome, Orlando Science Center's newest wedding venue. This breathtaking eight-story domed theater surrounds you and your guests with stunning 8K laser projection, transforming your ceremony into an immersive experience unlike any other.
Exchange vows beneath a canopy of stars, in front of breathtaking James Webb Space Telescope imagery, against the surface of the Moon, or choose from one of our other immersive celestial backgrounds. Each ceremony includes one preset background of your choice, creating a spectacular setting that reflects your vision for the day. Designed to inspire wonder, The Dome combines cutting-edge technology with timeless romance, creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests. Every ceremony also includes two audiovisual technicians, use of Orlando Science Center's sound system for your ceremony music, and a microphone with stand for your officiant.
VyStar Adventure Theater
Calling all theater-loving couples! Step into the spotlight and take center stage as you say your vows in our VyStar Adventure Theater. The VyStar Adventure Theater’s large stage and your choice of black or red plush curtains provides the perfect opportunity to create a dramatic and theatrical ambiance, ensuring that your wedding is a production to remember.
