Flight Lab

Scheduled Times - Level 4

Flight Lab uses real-world mission scenarios to teach standards-based STEM concepts. The lab contains 13 flight simulator stations where participants use Oculus Rift VR headsets as they learn how communicate and work as a team while piloting an aircraft.

Missions are designed to be experienced with a teammate who will act as a copilot, controlling various aspects of the aircraft to assist the pilot - however the Open-Flight missions can be controlled by a single pilot.

VR headsets are sanitized after every use. Our team works hard to ensure that every guest has a fun and safe experience in the lab.

This experience is best for ages 13 and up. This age restriction is based on the safety recommendations for the Oculus Rift VR headset put forth by Facebook Technologies, LLC.
