Catalyst - Presented by Lockheed Martin Logo

We have reached capacity for Summer Session 2026! The application form is now closed.

We will re-open applications for the 2026/2027 School Year after Summer. Thank you for your overwhelming support!

As a Catalyst Youth Volunteer, you have the opportunity to work closely with children and families to create a fun learning environment.

Orlando Science Center’s Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program operates year-round, and many of our volunteers return year after year. Volunteering at Orlando Science Center satisfies most middle school and high school community service requirements, and your dedication will make a difference in our community!

Volunteering at Orlando Science Center will help you build skills, make friends, and create opportunities to continue learning and growing.

The Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program is highly competitive and requires a complete online application to be considered. Due to the limited volunteer positions available, Orlando Science Center may not be able to select all applicants for a team.Current Catalyst Youth Volunteers have priority over new applicants to continue into upcoming sessions.

Applications for the Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program typically open twice a year for applicants ages 13-17 during the Summer Season and School Year Season.

For more information about Orlando Science Center’s Catalyst Youth Volunteer Program, contact the Volunteer Resources Department at volunteer@osc.org.
