Drop into the Poozeum

Want to get to know our fossil friends on a more...intimate level? Plunge into the fascinating specimens of coprolites and dinosaur poop from the world-famous Poozeum, now on display at Orlando Science Center!

Coprolites, also known as fossilized feces, are pieces of prehistoric poop that come in a variety of shapes and sizes dating back 11,700 to 200 million years ago. The Poozeum is a collection of some of the largest coprolites ever found, discovered on every continent and even right here in Florida!

These dino dumps provide direct links to prehistoric animal diets, behaviors, and environments that help scientists identify what kind of animal created them. The prized poo of this collection is Barnum, the Guinness World Record Holder for “world’s largest fossilized excrement from a carnivore,” currently on loan from the George “King of Fossilized Feces”  Frandsen himself.

Admission to the Poozeum is included with General Admission and FREE for OSC members. Don’t hold in your excitement! This fabulous fecal display is at Orlando Science Center for a limited time only.
