Otronicon Event Origin

(O)rlando Elec(tron)ic (I)nteractive Entertainment (Con)vention

Since its inception in 2006, Otronicon has successfully sparked interest throughout the Central Florida community in science, technology, engineering, art, math, digital media, simulation, robotics, virtual reality, and more. From flying a real-world military simulator to operating a surgical robot, guests of all ages and background are invited to experience four days of unprecedented access to the innovative technology created right in our backyard.

Where else can you have a conversation with a surgeon, a theme park engineer or astronaut? Otronicon of course! This event boasts various categories of new and unique technology demonstrated through interactive exhibits along with hands-on workshops, gaming competitions and guest speakers. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, learn new skills, playtest never-before-seen video games, and learn how technology and art coexist.

Otronicon is a celebration of technology in all its forms and functions. Join us as we continue the tradition that showcases these technologies, their impact on our lives and their potential to drive the future, individually, regionally and globally.
