A Virtual Nature Model: Experience Virtual Nature
January 18, 2019 at 4:00 pm – 4:20 pm
Included with OtroniconThe Virtual UCF Arboretum is like a scientific expedition into a realistic landscape. Explore this wild and beautiful representation of Central Florida beauty. Unique, as it is an interactive, multimodal, visualization of terrain and plant populations, and botanically accurate plants. See a pair of Bald Eagles crying, swooping, and soaring. Find native butterflies, dragonflies, and damsels. See wildflowers in bloom! Click on any of the botanically correct plants to open a world of knowledge. Implemented with access to an educational website, it details information about flowers and plants found at the UCF Arboretum and in your backyard!
