Our exhibits are designed to inspire curiosity and exploration, our Science Live! programs are designed to bring the exhibits to life. Whether it’s a show in the Darden Adventure Theater or a one-to-one interaction with a volunteer at the Crosby Observatory, our live programs create the kind of impact that can last a lifetime.

Celebrate Safety Week from June 20th to 23rd.  Throughout the week we will bring in special guests from the fire department, police department and other safety organizations.  Learn how to keep you and your litte ones safe at home, the pool, and on the go with interactive activities and crafts.

Clifford Adventures (12:30 - noon)

Take part on a fun science filled adventure in the Adventures with Clifford Exhibit.  Children can discover why some things float and others sink, what makes an island an island and participate in other fun activities.

All activities and events in the Crosby Observatory are weather permitting only.

Crosby Observatory is included in Orlando Science Center Admission.

Music N More Performances (10:00 am)
Join music students from Music N More as they rotate through special performances in the Digital Adventure Theater as part of our month-long theme that highlights the science of sound.


Open Lab Experiments (11:30 am)

Experience hands-on, interactive science experiments that showcase a variety of amazing science concepts like magnetism, circuits, acids and bases, and more!

Guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Laboratory hours will be from 11:30am-3:30pm




The Virtusphere Experience (11:30 am)

This virtual reality device lets you feel as though you are inside a video game!  Discover what it feels like to walk inside of our giant 10-ft sphere while wearing a special headmounted display with gyroscopic techology.

Guests must be 48" tall.  Shoes must be closed-toed.

The Virtusphere Experience runs from 11:30am to 3:30pm on weekends
