Ahoy, Mates!

Pirate Week

September 13 - 16, 2011
Special Events on Saturday, September 15

It was a dark, stormy night – the kind of night a pirate loves. Buccaneers from all over the seven seas were en route, descending on the great pirate feast. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning, a storm like no other and each and every last pirate was marooned on Science Island where they still remain to this day.

Now there might not be gold under the X mates, but on these days, the treasure is far better… a great time for the little buccaneers and their parents too! So grab your boots, your hat, waistcoats and trousers and join us on the fun!

The big celebration will be on Saturday, September 15. There will be black powder demonstrations at the top of every hour. Plus musical sea shanties, Pirate tales, and specials giveaways and prizes thanks to Disney, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf, Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise and Pirates Dinner Adventure.

Thank you to all the crews who make this event possible: Arrr Ink., Brothers of the Coast, Costumers for a Cause and Searle’s Buccaneers.
