On March 15 and 16, Orlando Science Center hosted the first Young Maker Workshop of the year. Centered around the Raspberry Pi, kids learned about the credit card-sized single-board computer and basics of computer science.

Once a month as Orlando Mini Maker Faire approaches, the Science Center is hosting Young Maker Workshops. The idea is to engage your little one in Maker-inspired activities with local professionals, while children and families work together to build and collaborate.

The Young Maker Workshop series will be offered at the Science Center on select weekends in Dr. Dare’s Lab. No registration is required. These workshops are included with paid admission or membership to the Science Center.
