Orlando Science Center is turning the new and improved KidsTown into a superhero metropolis for Superhero Week! Throughout the week of June 15-18, children are invited to come and learn what it takes to be an everyday superhero at home and in the community.

During this special themed event, little learners can participate in many events that allow them to discover their own superpowers and those held by community heroes. They will be able to participate in a variety of events happening in New KidsTown, including:

  • Superhero crafts: Update your super suit and more
  • Discover your superpowers in our Superpower Exploration Station
  • Tackle our obstacle course in the Superhero Training Camp
  • Participate in the Superhero Olympics
  • Superhero story time, led by community heroes
  • An interactive adventure inside the Harriett’s KidsTown Theatre, where you will help stop a super villain

Guests are welcome to come dressed as their favorite heroes!

Lean Green DAD presents: Superfoods for Super Powers

11 a.m. Saturday, June 17 & Sunday, June 18Lean Green Dad

Superheroes have super sight, super strength, and can run very fast! What’s the secret to their super powers and what type of fuel do they use to keep them in tip-top shape? Join Cory Warren from Lean Green DAD as he walks you through some awesome tasting superfoods that you can try yourself and learn to eat like a superhero! We will all make allergy-friendly snacks and quick bites for sampling. Every super-student will also get a chance to make a very important piece of their superhero costume that they can take home with them!

All activities are included with general admission to the Science Center. Also enjoy four floors of interactive exhibit halls, giant-screen films, live programming and more! For more information, click here to RSVP to the Facebook event.

Superhero Week is sponsored by Lean Green DAD, a lifestyle blog that promotes healthy food, family and fun.
