New Summer Camps Being Offered, Now Enrolling for Grades PreK-9
Engaging Science Available Weekly From June 14 - August 20
(Orlando, FL) - May 18, 2010 - School may be ending but that doesn’t mean the learning does! The Orlando Science Center’s summer camp program has an exciting and creative roster available for kids to enjoy, including hands-on exploration in science and nature, space and astronomy, archeology, math, computers, robotics, and even cooking! During the hottest days of the summer, kids will enjoy each full-day, weeklong session in air-conditioned comfort (thanks to a new A/C system) with special access to Science Center exhibits and films.
Camps are offered weekly this summer from June 14 to August 20. New camps have been added to this year’s roster of opportunities for children in grades K-6. Campers can experience the joys of cooking while experimenting with different elements and creating their own favorite concoctions. If cooking isn’t their passion, kids can get fizzy with the science of bubbles. Another new addition includes an engineering camp where children can design their own racecars and create contraptions to perform everyday tasks.
