What: Come join us at the Orlando Science Center as we celebrate Valentine's Day, the next holiday featured in our special Holiday Workshop series. An interactive workshop will engage your preschooler (3-5yo) and you in Valentine’s Day activities while still learning through science.
Who: Each participant will take home a certificate, handmade holiday craft, and memories of a day of fun and discovery. The workshop will also include a snack and a story. After the workshop, parents and child are free to explore the hands-on fun waiting in the rest of the Science Center.
Encounter new exhibits like the engaging Science in Toyland or hop over to Frogs and see 80 live frogs and toads from all over the world. You can also experience beloved favorites like the orange grove in KidsTown or the fossil displays in DinoDigs.
When: Saturday, February 13, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.)
Where: Orlando Science Center, 777 E. Princeton Street, Orlando
Why: This workshop allows both parents and their preschooler to be engaged in the festivities of Valentine’s Day while learning about science. This workshop partners both parents and their children in the exploration of bugs and many other scientific oddities here at Orlando Science Center.
Cost: General Public: $25 per parent & child, $5 per additional parent. Note: Science Center admission is required.
Members: $20 per parent & child, $5 per additional parent. Note: Science Center admission is free to members.
