Sub-Zero - New Live Show Delves Into Science That Chills
Every Saturday Night in July at 7:00 p.m.
WHAT: From common colds, like ice and snow, to instant-freeze hazards like liquid Nitrogen and Carbonic Acid, Sub-Zero is the only way to chill! Check out the coolest show in town with the Orlando Science Center’s latest live experience.
WHO: Following the popularity of last summer’s explosions show, The Big Bang, Master Showman Jimmy “J-Rex” Waldron plays it cool exploring the science of things that freeze AND go bang! With new demonstrations, all new explosions, and comedy, SUB-ZERO will give you brain freeze.
WHEN: Every Saturday night in July at 7:00 p.m. - July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31
WHERE: Darden Theater on Level 2, the Orlando Science Center, 777 East Princeton Street, Orlando, FL 32803
WHY: This new live stage show is geared toward high-school age and older audiences, but families will also enjoy its teeth-chattering blend of science, comedy, and explosions. Enjoy J-Rex as he dips his toes into some of the coldest substances the world has ever seen. Bundle up and explore the science of Sub-Zero!
COST: After 4:00 p.m., Sub-Zero is included with the evening admission to the Orlando Science Center, which is $13 for adults and $8 for kids (ages 3-11). Your ticket also gets you access to the Crosby Observatory and four floors of hands-on exhibits until 10:00 p.m.
Guests can come earlier in the day for $17 for adults and $12 for kids and tour exhibits like Diabetes: A Deeper Look and Frogs, see Ultimate Wave Tahiti on the giant screen and then stick around for Sub-Zero.
