Opening September 28 on Level 2
Orlando Science Center can tell you how to get to Sesame Street!
Sesame Street Presents: The Body offers an engaging, free-flowing learning experience set in the fun, familiar and reassuring world of Sesame Street. The loveable Sesame Street Muppets anchor an exciting collection of hands-on, interactive multimedia experiences that allow children to explore the human body and how to keep it healthy.
Children enter the exhibition to find themselves right on Sesame Street at the iconic 123 Building, home to some of the Street’s favorite fun residents. Further down the Street, “Who Are You?” will show kids that people (and monsters) come in all shapes and sizes and, although we’re all unique, our bodies work the same way. Next, they'll head into the rest of the exhibition to learn how their bodies work and how to keep them healthy as they hop, jump, run and dance their way through this adventure.

Sesame Street Presents: The Body features three areas of exploration:
Here children can learn to identify different body parts, learn what they do and explore the many ways they can put them to use.
Visit an exploration of what goes on inside the body. Activities include “Count’s Count the Organ Organ,” “Digestion with Oscar,” and “Oscar’s Sneeze Machine.”
Learn how staying clean, eating healthy foods and getting plenty of physical activity as well as sleep can help the body stay healthy. Ernie and Rubber Ducky get kids started in “Rub-A-Dub Tub,” then it’s on to “Mr. Hooper’s Store” and “Baby Bear’s Mini Mart." Kids can put their bodies to the test in “Rosita’s Locomotion,” where they learn how the heart and different muscles work while pumping, rowing or running.

Guests were treated to a healthy dose of science learning and fun as Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children hosted Scienterrific Saturday on Nov. 16, 2013.
As a local sponsor of the current traveling exhibit Sesame Street Presents: The Body, physicians and staff of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children examined bone health and safety, germ prevention, healthy eating, and more! Parents and children experienced hands-on activities, demonstrations and giveaways.
A giant thanks goes out to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children for their involvement and support of Orlando Science Center!
