Santa's Holiday Workshop!

Saturdays, December 6 & 13, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

He's making and list and checking it twice... And now he's coming to the Orlando Science Center! Join us as we celebrate Santa's Workshop, the next workshop featured in our special Holiday Workshop series geared for your preschoolers (3-5yo) and you. Each participant will bring home a certificate, craft, and memories of a day of fun and education. The workshop will also include a snack and a story.

Science Center Members: $20 per parent & child; $5 for additional person.
General Public: $25 per parent & child; $5 for additional person.
(Science Center admission is required)

Space is limited, reservations required. For registration or more information call 407.514.2112. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.

Fridays & Saturdays, November 7 - February 28, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Join our astronomers in the Crosby Observatory for a night full of wonder. Enjoy views of the celestial objects while you take in the glittering Orlando skyline. Peer through the powerful, 10-inch lens of the refractor telescope to view the planets like Jupiter, Mars and Venus and deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulas and more. This activity is weather-permitting.

Crosby Observatory is included in Orlando Science Center general admission price.

Guests had a yabba dabba doo time at the eighth annual Neanderthal Ball!

The most unique gala event this side of the stone age, patrons examined real fossils, chiseled their marks in the live and silent auctions, and witnessed the latest in prehistoric fashion in the third annual Harriett Lake Caveman Couture Contest.

Proceeds from this event benefit youth education programs at Orlando Science Center.

Orlando Science Center Earns ACA-Accredited Camp Status

ACA Accreditation is Highest Recognition Bestowed Upon a Camp Operation

ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 29, 2014) — The American Camp Association announced today that Orlando Science Center has received ACA-Accredited Camp status for summer 2015. Of approximately 12,000 camps nationwide, only one in five is ACA-accredited, according to the organization.

The ladies mixed-and-mingled in Bats: Myths & Mysteries while engaging in live science demos.
