Don't miss the latest Membership-related info!

Spring has sprung at the Science Center and was well apparent at Member Monday on March 10. Members celebrated the new season by pressing real flower scraps on wax paper to create colorful stained-glass window crafts. They also learned about the evolution of butterflies and creepy crawlers in a presentation by our very own NatureWorks staff.

We invite you to learn more about the spring season in an interactive, family storytelling adventure on Monday, April 14 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Madeline Potts, longtime storyteller, is back by popular demand to take you on a musical journey all ages will enjoy. For more information, call 407.514.2158. Learn more at Madeline's website.

Also, Nemours Brightstart! will offer FREE reading readiness screenings for three, four and five-year-olds during Member Monday. Screenings typically last five to 10 minutes and are followed by a discussion about your child's results. For more information on screenings or to schedule an appointment, please contact Nemours BrightStart! at 407.650.7731.

Members got messy on Monday with paints, flavored Play Doe, floam and silly spheres. The activities focused on stimulating children’s senses through touch, smell, sight and hearing. Sensory exploration encourages children to use scientific processes while they play, create, explore and investigate.

Be a part of our next Member Monday on Monday, February 10. The local Gymboree team will lead a class encouraging the development of cognitive, physical and social skills. This event is sure to keep you moving!

Members got their rhyme on Monday at, you guessed it, Member Monday!

Humpty Dumpty, Lil Bo Peep and Hickory Dickory Dock were just some of the nursery rhymes featured in MicheLee Puppets’ production, “Rhyme Time.” After the show, the little ones made their very own puppets to take home.

Join us for the next Member Monday on January 13 from 9 to 10 a.m. Your child has permission to get messy at this ooey-gooey event, so dress appropriately!
