Don't miss these upcoming events...

Sunday, March 1, 2015, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have a strong commitment to serving local communities and promoting educational learning. Orlando Science Center is proud to be a part of this effort by hosting Walmart $5 Day.

Guests can experience Orlando Science Center for the significantly discounted price of $5 per person thanks to the Walmart Foundation. General admission fees are usually $19 for adults and $13 for youth (ages 3-11). For many, this event presents the opportunity to experience the Science Center for the first time. Guests will be able to enjoy all of the exhibits, live programs and educational films the Science Center has to offer.

Parking is available in the Orlando Science Center Parking Garage located directly across the street from the Science Center for $5 per vehicle. Free overflow parking is available at Florida Urology Associates, 1812 N. Mills Ave., Orlando, 32803 and Magruder Eye Institute, 1911 N. Mills Ave., Orlando, 32803. Parking is also available on the upper levels of the Florida Hospital Parking Garage on McRae Avenue for $5, cash only.

First Saturday of every month, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Safely gaze upon the closest star to our home planet - the Sun. Our astronomers take aim at the sun to reveal the secrets hidden behind its glare. Take a peek at the Sun’s surface to see what kind of day the sun is having. Sometimes the surface is placid and serene but more often than not, it is boiling with sunspots and solar flares.

Please check the Science Live! Calendar for scheduled dates.

Crosby Observatory is included in Orlando Science Center Admission.

Every 4th Monday, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The Orlando Science Center will be making the fourth Monday morning of every month more accessible by providing a new more sensory friendly visit. This sensory friendly experience will allow our visitors a chance to visit select exhibit halls at quieter volume settings with more light. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a movie with softer volume and more ambient light in our theater. Free to Science Center members.
