We recently received a generous amount of carpeting from a large hospitality partner. The carpeting was over 24,000 square feet, and it now covers the Orlando Science Center’s founder’s room, parts of the executive offices as well as areas in DinoDigs. It replaced the older carpet that had met the end of its life.

Simple acts like these are seen in various office buildings and corporations and non-profits. If we recycle the unused or gently used material that we have to organizations that can utilize it, then we are helping to make the world a greener place. After all, someone’s trash is most of the time someone’s treasure so think twice before throwing away items that you don’t want, because someone out there would love to have it.
