Musical Fiesta (10:30 am)
Learn to play, and play to learn with our Musical Fiesta. OSC staff bring out various percussion instruments for guests to play with. The staff member will tailor the program depending on guests’ ages and interests; activities may range from just open play to learning notes on a xylophone.

This program is appropriate for guests age 7 and younger and their adult.

StoryTime (11:15 am)
Curl up in KidsTown with a good book! Science Center staff bring a book and corresponding craft to KidsTown. We read the book and complete a craft together, talking about elements of the story as we go along. Depending on the nature of the craft, StoryTime may happen under the Story Tree or at the blue craft tables. Story books are changed out every other week. Craft time works best when children bring an adult.

This activity is best for guests 7 and under when accompanied by an adult.

Vamonos! Let's Go! (12:30 - noon)
Young guests get to help a Science Center staff member solve a problem just like in the show. Focusing on active play, guests help the staff member by following a map to different sections of the exhibit, performing small tasks along the way.

This program is appropriate for guests age 7 and younger.

Dino Safari (1:00 pm)
Follow an OSC guide around Dino Digs as you learn about the amazing, ancient animals that walked the Earth millions of years ago. OSC guides are happy to answer burning questions, like “Are these real dinosaur bones?” Safaris are tailored to the audience depending on guests’ ages and interests.

Messy Afternoons (1:30 pm)
Enjoy a messy activity in KidsTown. Activities are set up at the blue tables and involve exploring materials by using your sense of sight, hearing, touch, and even smell. Activities range from playing with home-made playdough to exploring the states of matter with oobleck.

These activities are best for guests age 7 and younger when accompanied by an adult.
