Little Explorers

 

Ages 18-36 months

 These 45-minute workshops are designed for children 18 to 36 months with an accompanying adult. We will actively explore diverse topics in science through hands-on science activities, experiments, songs, movement and more.

Come join us in this unique opportunity for you and your toddler to learn and grow together as you explore the wonders of the science world!

1 Series = 3 workshops; meets once per week (either Monday or Tuesday)

1 Semester = 4 Series

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Mondays: 9/4, 9/11, 9/18
Tuesdays: 9/5, 9/12, 9/19
What body part do we use to hear the world around us? Our ears! Join us as we explore what exactly sound is, how we can hear sounds, and the different ways we can create our own sounds (like music).

Homes & Habitats

Mondays: 10/2, 10/9, 10/16
Tuesdays: 10/3, 10/10, 10/17

Come along as we dive to the depths of the ocean, cross the sandy plains of the desert, and swing through the rainforest trees! Explore these three unique habitats and the creatures that call them home.

Adventures in Story Time: Eric Carle

Mondays: 10/30, 11/6, 11/13
Tuesdays: 10/31, 11/7, 11/14

Get ready to dive into the world of Eric Carle and his friends as we explore the science behind stories such as The Grouchy Ladybug, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and The Mixed-Up Chameleon.

Out of This World

Mondays: 11/27, 12/4, 12/11
Tuesdays: 11/28, 12/5, 12/12

3…2…1… BLAST OFF! Climb aboard our space shuttle as we rocket to the moon, roar by all eight planets, and say hello to the sun and its starry friends!
