Participation in afterschool programs is associated with better attitudes toward school, higher educational aspirations, lower drop-out rates, better performance in school, and improved school attendance.
Orlando Science Center Afterschool is an immersive program providing students in grades K-5 the opportunity to build 21st-century skills through enriching, hands-on STEM activities.
Each semester, the program will provide an interdisciplinary approach to various STEM topics in an environment that fosters skill development while encouraging existing interests and passions. Students will be provided with opportunities for self-direction and access to various disciplines such as arts, social studies and more.
